The Dogs Will Not Win

Another week completed in the Lord's vineyard! God is showing us miracles in abundance every single day. He truly loves all of us so much. How was everyone's week? Did you do something amazing? Learn something cool at school? If you did, let me know—I want to hear about it! If not... well, you've got a whole week this week to do something life-changing! Every moment matters. This week was so awesome; it started off pretty normal, and we were finding so many cool people! On Tuesday, it rained quite a bit, which is such a blessing. It was super fun to ride around in the rain on our bikes. It confused a lot of people, and not a ton of people were outside, but nonetheless, we found some people. Youth Night was super awesome, and we had a couple of friends come and vibe with us, which was a huge blessing because the branch members loved it. Thursday was a grind; we were just biking from lesson to lesson, which was so good. Having lessons makes the days a lot more productive and ...

ONE YEAR

Well, we always knew it was gonna happen. MY ABSOLUTE LEGEND OF A BROTHER got married last week. I have a sister-in-law, so hype, let's go! Also, I hit a year on my mission – super cool, and I can't wait for another! This week, put simply, was just a grind. Found a lot of cool people and a lot of people who just wanted to bash. So that was beyond fun. For some reason, they can never get the names right. Idk who John Smith is... but nevertheless, this is still God's church on the earth. JOSEPH Smith was a true prophet, and President Nelson is his prophet on the earth today. We had a couple of miracles and cool experiences this week, and I wanted to share 2 of them. We were with our friends Martha, Albert, and Reina. They were one of our backup plans in case one of our lessons fell through. Sometimes we don't think the backups are as important, but I testify they are! We showed up and didn't really know where we wanted to go with it. My companion looked at me and kind...

I Think That Was A Bird

Well, everybody, there's no way that was a whole week. That went by way too fast, but we still saw miracles and loved every second of it. This week was a bit different! To start, on Tuesday we had Zone Conference in Corpus Christi. It was hype but the longest 3-hour drive of my life. It's all good because we received a ton of revelation, and we are already applying things and seeing miracles! We also hit a bird with the truck. Wednesday and Thursday were a grind for sure! Biking in the high heat was awesome, and I am so grateful for the chance to share the gospel in that way! The bikes are the best way to do it... can't change my mind! This work pushes forward, no matter how hot Satan makes it outside. What I think is hilarious is how our contacts react when it's super hot outside. Us: Hi, how are you? Them: It's too hot! Us: Hahaha, yeah, it is a little bit! Them: You really should get inside while it's this hot! Us: Can we come inside and share a message about...

Life Is A Dream

Hey, if you all could choose between chocolate cake or peach cobbler, which would you choose? For the boys here in Zapata, we don't choose, we just made both! BOOM, we cooked up this week! Zapata has never tasted food like this before.  This week was super lit. Miracles were seen, trials were had, and progress was made in this amazing pueblo we call Zapata! We had a new record of total people at church on Sunday—SO HYPE!! The members are super hype, and it's so cool to see the rekindling of their gospel fire. Sadly, we only had one friend at church with us this week, but Josie is going strong, has a Book of Mormon, and is pressing forward! We had a couple of cool experiences this week. The first one I wanted to share was a story with our friends, the Martinez Family. We went over and shared the last Book of Mormon video. It's the one where Moroni challenges the people to read it and ask for a witness. The video ended, and we talked about it. I felt a deep love for my Savior...
