Not Much To Say

Yoooo what's up everyone? To be honest, this week was a rough one. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. We are already on the up so it's all good! I don't have a lot of time but I wanted to share an experience we had. Thursday night, after the longest day of my mission I think, we were walking in a neighborhood and I saw this guy standing outside. Instinctively, I decided to go talk to him. His name was Francisco, but he was getting eaten by ants and wanted to go inside his house. But he insisted on us coming back the next night. So I got his number and we set up a meeting the next night. Fast forward to the next night, we show up to his house. A lady named Irma answers the door and we start to talk with her. We get to know her and ask if Francisco was home. She said Francisco doesn't live there... She does not know a Francisco, actually, haha! I was super confused and didn't know if I imagined him or not... We continue to talk to Irma and she turns out to be...

Alma 26:36

Good morning everybody! I hope you all have had a great week! My week was really good, and we saw a lot of miracles throughout the work. I can't believe another week has come and gone! Our week started off super well with a little exchange. My companion, Elder Phillips, came with us for the day, and we had a lot of fun. It was refreshing to see another point of view and a new way to do the work. I learned a lot, and I am super grateful for his example to me. Wednesday, we had a super good Zone meeting about helping our friends overcome their doubts and filling their needs. It was really good to work on our skills of finding needs and teaching to them. One thing I noticed for the 1,000th time it seems is that truly the gospel can help anyone resolve doubts or fill needs in their life. This gospel is so true. Our friend Lili got baptized this past week! She's the absolute goat. I am so grateful I was able to be a part of this for her. We had a lot of fun teaching her and helping ...

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had an amazing week! I know I did. We saw a lot of miracles but also faced some challenges. The good thing is, God is on our side, so all is well. We started the week off well. We were teaching a lot of people, and many of our friends were progressing towards baptism, especially our friends Alex and Felipe. Felipe is Alex's uncle, and a few people in their family are members. It was amazing to spend time in their home, talk about the gospel, and feel the Spirit. However, we got a call from them on Wednesday... They told us they were leaving for Iowa for work. It was a pretty sad phone call. We went over to their house to say goodbye and shared Alma 17:2 with them. If you don't know it, I invite you to read it. It's a powerful verse that explains what we all want. They will be meeting with missionaries in Iowa. I'm grateful for the chance I had to be a part of their teaching. On the bright side, we had a lot of opportunities to teach...

Another Short One....My B

I know President Nelson is a prophet of God. You could feel the power of his words as he shared true, restored doctrine! Truly, this is Jesus Christ's church on the earth today. The Lord is hastening His work out here in Texas. So many people have been prepared for the gospel at this day and time! We had a lot of our friends watch General Conference this past weekend, and we are already seeing miracles from it. One example is our friend Lilly. She is a lady we met on the street, and we just invited her to watch General Conference on her phone. She loved it, and we invited her to our friend's baptism that night. She agreed to come, and she felt the Spirit so strong! She is now preparing to be baptized. This is simply one example of how God uses ordinary people and things to fulfill His purposes. Our friend Aldo got baptized this week! He was one of the most prepared people I have ever met. He had very minimal doubts and just wanted to do what he could to follow God. Faith can tr...

Well, I got no time. I am in the amazing city of Edinburgh once again! This time on the nice side of the expressway. Jesus and Laura got baptized. My mom said the prayer at an Easter mission devotional #thegoat. Jesus Christ lives. Because he lives, we will all live again. Elder Lefler
