Sonrisas Son Super Buenas

Another week completed, finished, and absolutely dominated in the work of the Lord. This email is going to be great; I have to cover 2 weeks, so we are going to hit a lot of points! Zone conference and Interviews! Wow, I always knew my mission president was a beast. But after this one, there is not a doubt in my mind that he is called of God. During zone conference, I was feeling a couple of feelings of inadequacy, so I was down on myself and overall just goofing off. IN THAT MOMENT Presidente Larreal gets up, takes the mic, and says, "God is in the details of your life. Enjoy your time here; you are enough"... hit me like a bullet, not gonna lie. God is good, and He works through those who are keen enough to hear His voice! I love the people in our ward. They are some of the nicest and friendliest people I have met! We have the chance to eat with some of them for dinner. There is a special kind of spirit at these dinner appointments, one that I can't describe. God blesse...

Not A Long One

Oh no, I have no time at all today, so this is a sorry excuse for an email! But... I love the work. God is good. This is His church. The Book of Mormon is true. With the Atonement, we can become changed people! I'll do a longer one next week to make up for it! I'd love to hear from any and all of you! Elder Lefler

BOOOK OF MORMON

Hey everyone, how's it going this week? It's been another great week in the service of the Lord. I love Brownsville; I'm here with lots of friends, and there's a lot of joy in the work. We have been working with a couple of part-member families and people who have been coming to church for a while. We took our friends Arely and Oscar to the temple open house! It was so cool, and I can't wait for the dedication. The temples bring so many blessings; I am so grateful for my family. Hyped to be with y'all for the whole grind. Church this week was so exciting; sacrament was great. I love the opportunity to go to church and remember our baptismal covenants. We are literally promised to have His Spirit with us always. I don't know about you guys, but I want all the help I can get. Also, I read the talk "That they do always remember him" by Elder Costa. READ IT. Also, don't play basketball in Doc Martins; you'll end up with blisters and a rolled an...

Brownstown

This will be a bit of a shorter email... sorry! This was a week for the ages, everyone! It started out as a normal week in the blessed land of Zapata. We were finding and teaching and trying to help people be ready for baptism. Then on Tuesday night, we got transfer calls; I was headed to Brownsville!! What less goooo! So I have been down here for the past couple of days, and we have already seen so many miracles! I'm in a super awesome ward and area. My companion, Elder Hancock, and I actually just opened this area. They had taken the elders out of it a couple of transfers ago, but it's open again, and we're killing it! Funny story: since we are opening the area, they have had some trouble with the area book. So we have had nothing to go off, and we have had no boundaries. So we have just been doing anything we can to find the elect! It's been super fun to just go work with nothing to go off of, but sadly, they are going to have it fixed soon. I dropped some Oreos... t...
