Brownstown

This will be a bit of a shorter email... sorry!

This was a week for the ages, everyone! It started out as a normal week in the blessed land of Zapata. We were finding and teaching and trying to help people be ready for baptism. Then on Tuesday night, we got transfer calls; I was headed to Brownsville!! What less goooo! So I have been down here for the past couple of days, and we have already seen so many miracles! I'm in a super awesome ward and area. My companion, Elder Hancock, and I actually just opened this area. They had taken the elders out of it a couple of transfers ago, but it's open again, and we're killing it!

Funny story: since we are opening the area, they have had some trouble with the area book. So we have had nothing to go off, and we have had no boundaries. So we have just been doing anything we can to find the elect! It's been super fun to just go work with nothing to go off of, but sadly, they are going to have it fixed soon.

I dropped some Oreos... top 10 saddest moments so far on my mission.

We saw a lot of miracles with being in the right place at the right time. We met our friend Juan by simply feeling like we needed to be somewhere at a specific time! He is super cool and wants to progress! As well, when we follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost, we can be guided to doing the things that God wants. He will be able to use us to accomplish His will! Act on impressions and show God you are willing to follow Him!

Also, shoutout to my sister Katie; she turned 12 this past week! Absolute Legend!

Also, they have asked us to communicate through email or letters! Send me an email!

Love you all! Keep praying!

Elder Lefler
