Mexican Rice Is GOATED
It's that time again everybody, Monday email day. We had a crazy week up here in Zapata, the bikes are ELECT!! We grinded, I go fast on the bikes so I'm not sure if my comp is happy about that haha! But we've gotta be urgent with the work, this is God's work sooo
This week we found so many cool people!! They are so awesome and I can't wait to see how they progress! We only had a couple come to church but we had some inactive members pull up so that was so awesome!! We have been trying to focus on sharing the restoration and church with our friends and we have seen blessings come from it! The people here know that something is missing from their church, and then we come along and boom. Questions are answered.
This week we had interviews with president, which was super lit! On Monday we took the boy's truck to the dealership....it didn't get fixed so we spent the night in laredo. I went with the Zone Leaders so that was so hype, spoke a lot of Spanish, and had a lot of fun. The next day we had interviews and it was a blast, president larreal is so inspired!
Church this week was kind of rough. Like I said we only had 2 people come, I swear we knocked every door and invited people. No one in Zapata wakes up early haha! It's rough, I definitely have felt godly sorrow for the people here. They are so close to changing their lives, but they won't take action. I love the work though and they are gonna come next week.
Also side note, I learned how to make Mexican rice this week. BOOM, biggest flex in my life high key
Not a ton of other big things to say. I was reading in the Come Follow Me about the atonement and last moments of the savior life. I can testify to you that Jesus Christ is the savior of the world. His atonement can strengthen us in any situation, I know that is true. I love this gospel, it truly blesses us!!
I love you all! I would love to hear from any of you as well!!
With love,
Elder Lefler
PS the pic with the cigarettes, I did not use them! I threw them away #nosmokingforR2
