Hola!! This was my final week in the CCM!! I can't believe my 6 weeks of missionary training is coming to an end. Being here in Mexico has been amazing and I've had so many new experiences, Español, the food and the amazing weather are just a few examples! The time has flown by, and I am so excited to get to the field! There was not a ton of new stuff that happened this week, but the spirit was strong and I enjoyed it! We spent a lot of time Frisbee golfing, studying and getting ready to leave haha!      This week as a district we signed a contract to speak only Spanish the whole week! It's been an adventure for sure, but I've seen the help of heavenly father throughout the whole week! I've seen my knowledge of Spanish and my ability to speak it grow so much in just the past week!! I am so grateful for my teachers who have shown incredible patience as I have tried to learn the language these past weeks! I can't wait to use what I have learned to share the gospel...

¡Hola! ¿Como esta? This week was amazing! The spirit here at the CCM is so amazing and unique. The CCM is like a little sanctuary among all the craziness in the bustling Mexico City! It is very peaceful and it's a perfect place to learn and grow. Yesterday was the one month mark since I started my mission! Let me tell you it has been life changing!! I love our savior and this work, without it I don't know who or where I would be!  Not a ton of crazy things happened this week, I'm happy to say the hair is growing back! Very slowly but it's growing haha. This week was spent learning Español, the scripture lessons, and becoming closer with my district and friends! I have seen so much growth in my knowledge of Spanish it's crazy! I have been trying to translate my patriarchal blessing into Español this week! It has been a really cool experience to see those promises and expectations for my life in Spanish. One thing my morning teacher says is that we are here to learn 3...

Hey everybody!! I left for the Mexico MTC on the 30th of August! I flew out of Salt Lake City and went straight to Mexico. Mexico city is sooo big! The houses are so colorful and simple! It is so pretty and I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to learn in this amazing place!! It has been such an amazing experience!! I got here and within the first day I saw a ton of friends and it helped me ease into it! I met my District and they are some of the best people I've ever met, I love them so much! My companion got called as the district leader and he's been doing an amazing job! A couple days into our MTC experience we had a rock paper scissors competition...the loser of the tournament had to buzz their head. I lost the competition....which if you ask my friend JR is not a surprise!
