Terramoto!! (Earthquake!!)

Hola!! This was my final week in the CCM!! I can't believe my 6 weeks of missionary training is coming to an end. Being here in Mexico has been amazing and I've had so many new experiences, EspaƱol, the food and the amazing weather are just a few examples! The time has flown by, and I am so excited to get to the field! There was not a ton of new stuff that happened this week, but the spirit was strong and I enjoyed it! We spent a lot of time Frisbee golfing, studying and getting ready to leave haha!

This week as a district we signed a contract to speak only Spanish the whole week! It's been an adventure for sure, but I've seen the help of heavenly father throughout the whole week! I've seen my knowledge of Spanish and my ability to speak it grow so much in just the past week!! I am so grateful for my teachers who have shown incredible patience as I have tried to learn the language these past weeks! I can't wait to use what I have learned to share the gospel.

We had the opportunity to have a small district testimony meeting this week. We all bore our testimonies in Spanish and the spirit was so strong! I love the gospel, and learning everything in Spanish has been a huge blessing! Being able to share my testimony in Spanish was exactly what I needed!

During this week we had 2 earthquakes!! They weren't big but we still felt them haha! One of said earthquakes happened to be at 1 in the morning! Waking up that early was no bien! But we were prepared because of all of the expert training we had received

This week I had to say goodbye to a couple of Friends, Elders Kartchner, Garrett, Thorpe and Harmon all left for the field this week!! They are gonna do great! They have taught me so much and can't wait to see how they do!

On our way to the temple we saw a young man doing tricks with a soccer ball to earn some money. I felt this feeling of gratitude for the things I have been given. Hermana Kirkham(the mtc president's wife) said that the young man does that for his job and that's how he makes a living. For some reason that hit me really hard, I am so grateful for everything I have been given. Including the knowledge of the gospel which I am now going to go and share with everyone I meet!!

For my spiritual thought I am gonna share my companions favorite scripture!

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me

I know of the truthfulness of this scripture!! Through any trial or tribulation if we keep God with us we will succeed!! I wholeheartedly believe that.

Until next week!
