I Think That Was A Bird

Well, everybody, there's no way that was a whole week. That went by way too fast, but we still saw miracles and loved every second of it.

This week was a bit different! To start, on Tuesday we had Zone Conference in Corpus Christi. It was hype but the longest 3-hour drive of my life. It's all good because we received a ton of revelation, and we are already applying things and seeing miracles! We also hit a bird with the truck.

Wednesday and Thursday were a grind for sure! Biking in the high heat was awesome, and I am so grateful for the chance to share the gospel in that way! The bikes are the best way to do it... can't change my mind! This work pushes forward, no matter how hot Satan makes it outside. What I think is hilarious is how our contacts react when it's super hot outside.

Us: Hi, how are you?

Them: It's too hot!

Us: Hahaha, yeah, it is a little bit!

Them: You really should get inside while it's this hot!

Us: Can we come inside and share a message about Jesus Christ and His restored church?

Them: No... bye!

Us: Proceeds to leave a picture of Jesus in the door they just closed.

Now this isn't how it always goes, but about 95% of the time, yes.

On Friday, I think, President Jackson told us that we needed to do a musical number for church! Which was awesome but had no time to prepare. We decided to do a piano-guitar duet with people singing the song "My Heavenly Father Loves Me." It was so cool!! I can testify that our Heavenly Father loves us!

Sunday came around and it was awesome! President Larreal came and spoke, which was so awesome! Literally love this guy, he's so funny! The people think he's great too; he's a great guy, and the words he shared were very powerful! He talked a lot about the temple and the blessings that we can receive when we are faithful and attend regularly! I invite you all to try and attend the temple frequently; you will see blessings and miracles.

Also, we had friends at church, so that was probably the happiest moment of my day.

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:

Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities.

I love my family. They have done so much for me, and without them, I wouldn't be who I am today! Shoutout to the Leflers and Christensens; they're the best out there! Build your family on Jesus Christ, and you WILL see the happiness that only He brings!

Also, something else is happening this week! My brother Austin (Absolute KING) gets married tomorrow!! I couldn't be happier and more excited for him and Grace! Love you both! #Austin&Grace4evr
