We Released A Bear Into Laredo

Yoooooo, what is up, my homies? Was the week killer? Did you learn something new and amazing about the gospel? I hope you all enjoyed the "Come, Follow Me" this week; I had an amazing thought while reading it. Nephi said that he delights in the words of Isaiah, so I decided that I should give it a try. As I tried my hardest to use the Spirit to understand it, I saw many references to the Savior, and I really enjoyed it!

Our week was awesome, an absolute banger. The Lord's hand was evident in everything we were doing. I thought it was cool to be able to see God's help in even the small things. We taught a bunch of lessons and saw a lot of people desire to grow closer to their Savior. A couple of them even decided to go to church, which was amazing. They all really liked it and said they would be coming back next week.

We met and talked a lot with Mikey this week. He has the goal of being baptized this next Saturday, so we were working with him a lot helping him overcome doubts and grow. So, needless to say, we met with them on Saturday night. That's when we met Kate... absolute GOAT! She told us that she wants to come to church and be baptized as well!!! ON THE 16TH!! Mikey is going to be a great example, and then the plan is to help them get to the temple.

Our other friend is named Oscar; he's an absolute GOAT. He works as a truck driver and is super down to earth. He wants to be baptized and grow his faith in Jesus Christ. He does not know very much about religion, Jesus, or the importance of it. But he has some amazing desires to start and begin this week!! He has the goal of being baptized on the 23rd!!

As well, me and Elder Slavens released a German Shepherd into the streets of Laredo... I have never been so stressed in my entire life. We pulled up to this house and saw a giant dog; it was nice so we went to open the gate, and it darted out... we chased it, watched it pee on everything in sight, and then got in a crazy fight with another dog. Big bear dog took a dub, and then ran back home. It was absolutely crazy. But needless to say, it was a great adrenaline rush!

Shout out to my sister-in-law Grace. She's a legend.

I LOVE YOU ALL!! HAVE AN AMAZING WEEK!! Let me know how you are all doing!!

Elder Lefler
