Snowy Sunday In March

Hi Mom,


Thank you so much for your email. I enjoyed reading about your week and all the amazing things you are doing. You're such a great example to me.


My week was so awesome. We saw so many miracles, and truly, it was one of the best weeks of my mission. It's amazing what a different attitude or perspective can do for this work or just life in general. I love being able to work my hardest and know that God is with me. I told myself I was going to write a longer email today. I really hope I make that happen.


On Saturday, I had the opportunity to watch a baptism from my old area. Our friend Fernando was baptized, and Elder Meldrum was able to baptize him. It was good to see him and watch him have that experience. This week, our friend here, Mikey, is going to get baptized. He came to church again, so he is absolutely chilling. He is reading the Book of Mormon with his sister Kate, who is getting baptized the following weekend. It's amazing to see the power of that book.


Mom, I love you so much. Thank you for the scriptures. I loved Come Follow Me this week. I think the Isaiah chapters are special. They are super confusing, but the times I understand them are some of the best times reading the Book of Mormon.


"And now I, Nephi, write more of the words of Isaiah, for my soul delighteth in his words. For I will liken his words unto my people, and I will send them forth unto all my children, for he verily saw my Redeemer, even as I have seen him."


I've seen so many blessings as I liken the scriptures unto myself. It changes the whole meaning.


I can't wait to talk today.

It's that time again everybody, Monday email day. We had a crazy week up here in Zapata, the bikes are ELECT!! We grinded, I go fast on the bikes so I'm not sure if my comp is happy about that haha! But we've gotta be urgent with the work, this is God's work sooo This week we found so many cool people!! They are so awesome and I can't wait to see how they progress! We only had a couple come to church but we had some inactive members pull up so that was so awesome!! We have been trying to focus on sharing the restoration and church with our friends and we have seen blessings come from it! The people here know that something is missing from their church, and then we come along and boom. Questions are answered. This week we had interviews with president, which was super lit! Sorrrrrry I don't have a ton of stuff to say this week!! I'm staying in Edinburg for another transfer!! God has people here for me! I'm too hyped, Elder Cooper is heading home. He's finished his mission and he's a beast. I'll forever be grateful for him!!  Jesus Christ Lives. He loves us, this is his plan and nothing can mess it up. He truly did restore his church to the earth through Joseph Smith. Apparently I Was Fat?

YOOOOOOOO, what is popping everybody? I love y'all so much, and I am so grateful for everything y'all do. Truly, I've got the best family and friends out there. I love you guys so much! Can you believe it is Christmas time? Like not that many days until the big day is here. My P-day today is short because we have Christmas Conference this week. But it's always a joy to write an email and express some feelings I have come to acquire while being a missionary. Our friend Abel is back on date!! I had the impression to call him a couple of days ago and invite him to be baptized on the 30th. He said he wants to, and we are excited to work with him!!! I have grown to truly love this guy, and I am so excited for him to receive these blessings! My dawg Elder Nielsen is in the ward now. He was my MTC comp, and I'm hyped to be around him again.
