Himno 88

Sheesh

No way my little sister is 18... that can't be true. Allee, you're gonna change the world!! Love you so much.

Buenos días, I hope y'all are doing well right now! We are living in the best time in the history of the world. God is hastening His work and raining blessings down upon us! I testify that truly the gospel is what brings us real joy! Without it, I probably would not be happy. AT ALL. So, I'm very grateful I have it!

First up, let me set the scene for an experience I had this week. We were cycling to get to a dinner appointment, hot, humid air drenching my clothes, when we decided to take a shortcut through a parking lot. All was fine, the smell of tacos was thick in the air. I saw a man selling flowers, and being a kind soul, I decided to wave! In the instant I took my hand off the handlebar... I hit three bumps and proceeded to go headfirst over my handlebars. My legs didn't get the memo and got stuck with the pedals, which caused the whole bike to follow me. After graciously crashing, I did a push-up (common sense) and stood up. The man with the flowers then asked if I was okay and turned down an invitation to learn more.

What do we learn from this experience? I don't know; if you figure it out, send me an email.

But for real, my past couple of weeks have been some of the hardest but most spiritually rewarding weeks of my mission! I wanted to talk a little bit about two things that happened that stood out to me.

1st is that Elder Gong came to visit our mission!! It was such an amazing experience, and I learned so much from him. During the meeting, he started by having the other leaders with him bear testimony of Jesus Christ. Which hit super hard, and I love my Savior so much. After that, he walked around and simply asked questions and helped us find ways to be more effective. It changed my whole perspective on missionary work and what I need to be doing!! To end his devotional, he testified of Christ, how influential He has been in his own life, and how he has come to know Him. It was very special, and a moment I will never forget. We got to sit on the front row, so that was hype.

2nd, I had the opportunity to interview some people for baptism last week. I don't know if I have ever felt God's love stronger for someone else. It's amazing to think of everyone as one of God's beloved children. God loves all of His children, take the opportunity to be a way He can show His love. You will never regret it.

Himno 88, if you know, you know.

I THINK YOU ALL ARE SO AWESOME. I truly do, and I am constantly praying and thinking about you all.

I invite you all to go read this chapter in Alma. It is amazing.

Alma 26:16

16 Therefore, let us glory, yea, we will glory in the Lord; yea, we will rejoice, for our joy is full; yea, we will praise our God forever. Behold, who can glory too much in the Lord? Yea, who can say too much of His great power, and of His mercy, and of His long-suffering towards the children of men? Behold, I say unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel.

I testify of our Savior, He lives. He is the way and the light. I love Him so much, I do not know how to describe the gratitude I feel for Him and for all of you. Keep on pressing forward; God will sustain you.

Con fe y firmeza en Cristo
Élder Lefler
