Y'all Already Know

Wow. That's all I can say to describe my week. It was full of miracles, hard work, and some fun as well. Also, I hope you all had a chance to watch the General Conference! Me and Elder Hancock watched in total about one session. We were just going around to all our friends getting it turned on and started for them! They all loved it and received the answers they were looking for.

This week started off super well. We had exchanges, and I went with my boy Elder Olsen! He is a beast, and I learned a lot from him. In the morning of our exchange, Elder Olsen had a meeting, so I went on a split with Elder Jacobsen. It was an exchange within an exchange. Elder Jacobsen is a brand new missionary, so it was hype to be with someone with such a pure testimony! He shared his testimony powerfully, and I learned a lot about humility from him. Shoutout, he also knows my guy Elder Gallman who is in Columbia.

While we were on the exchange, we went and shared a little conference hype with our friend Darrell! Darrell is this hype old man who has been a member for a little bit now, and he has such a pure love for the gospel. While we were there, he told us a lot that has been going on in his life. Questions, struggles, and doubts all were at the front of his mind. We had the opportunity to testify of our living Prophet and Apostles and how they could guide us. I don't think we sometimes understand how blessed we are. God has given us people to tell us exactly what we need to do. So clutch.

We kept grinding during the week, trying to find new people, help people get hyped for conference, and sharing the gospel. I can testify that as we lose ourselves in what God has asked, we find out who God really wants us to be. THERE IS NO WAY THAT THIS ISN'T TRUE. I know it is; I know this work is God's work. Simply put, I could not imagine my life without it.

On Friday, we had the hype chance to go to Port Isabel! We had some friends who wanted to hear this message and lived way out there. Port Isabel is the last stop before South Padre Island, but we can't go to South Padre Island. BUT it was so hype to see the ocean again and to share the gospel (or at least try to) with the people who haven't seen missionaries in a while!

I want to share some miracles we witnessed and how they changed my life.

It was Wednesday, I think. We were walking around this neighborhood and finding no one. I was feeling dumb because I felt inspired to come and walk in this area. I was worried maybe I got the revelation wrong haha! But as we turned the corner, we saw a couple of people, and that was super hype. But we kept walking, and we stopped this car. The door opened because the window was broken, and there sat our boy Carlos!! We had been trying so hard to get in contact with this guy! He just was never home, and he wouldn't pick up the phone. But God put us into his path that day, and because of that, he was able to hear about General Conference!! God works through us, and sometimes we don't realize it. We only saw him because we listened to the promptings of the spirit. Make sure you listen to the promptings God gives you.

On Saturday night, we were watching some of conference with our friend Alicia. We watched it at the church with the ward, and she loved it!! After conference, we had some refreshments, and she got to know some of the members. We had the feeling to bring up baptism, and in doing so, she was able to hear the testimonies of a lot of the sisters in the ward!! She wants to be baptized on the 21st. It was the spirit once again, folks!! The spirit can guide us in all things we do!! As well, it happened because of the people we were with. The members knew exactly what to say and how to be friends with her. You guys make all the difference. With the spirit, you can all be amazing tools to help our Heavenly Father with His work.

The main thing I saw during these experiences was the guiding, directing power of the Holy Ghost. Without him, our lives, this work, and everything else would be 10x harder. In most cases, it would not go the way we want!! We all need to live worthily of His constant companionship. It may be hard to get there. I challenge you to get there and reap the blessings.

I also wanted to testify of the reality of a living Prophet. I don't know if you guys felt it yesterday, but while watching President Nelson talk yesterday, it felt like the world stopped. It was just me and him, and I felt the truthfulness of his calling as a prophet. He is the Prophet called of God to lead us at this time. I know it.

I love you all, and I would love to hear what your favorite talks were. I didn't get to hear much, so let me know!!
