This Gotta Be The Biggest Bike Area

And it came to pass that we lived after the manner of happiness." (2 Nephi 5:27)

This week was a crazy one, everybody. This work is amazing and exciting, and I love it!

The week started off pretty normal, good Tuesday progress, and found some cool people!! Tuesday night though, we ate some tacos, and then went home for transfer calls... I LEFT! It is crazy not to be in Brownsville; I feel like there was so much for me to do over there! So on Wednesday, we went to our boy Ricky's house. HE PASSED HIS INTERVIEW!! So awesome, and I was so happy for him. It was super hard to say goodbye to him and his family, but I'll see them again, so it's no worries!! Later on Wednesday, we had a lesson with our friend Alicia, who is also preparing for baptism. She is doing so well and will be baptized this week!!

Thursday came, and we drove to McAllen for transfers!! I am now in the city of Mission, on the bikes in the coolest ward ever!! They are all so kind and super down for the work. I cannot wait to get to know them and work with them!! It's been fun getting to know a new area and changing my way of doing things!!

I'm with my guy Elder Stewart; he is so funny and has so much drive to be a good missionary! He is on his 4th transfer and is just super easy to get along with! He does like to ride his bike really long distances... so I don't know what's up with that, He is awesome!

We were bumping it up to this guy named Abel on Saturday night. When I got here, Elder Stewart said he wasn't that cool... so we rode like 1000 miles to get to his house. When we got there, I turned to Elder Stewart to ask what we were gonna teach, he said, "I don't know". So we went into it blind. HE TURNED OUT TO BE SUPER COOL! He came to church and is gonna get baptized #godisgoodalways

Also, I got bit by a dog.

Lately, I've been studying the life of Jesus Christ. It has been very uplifting and has given me a new perspective on our Savior. I have been loving all the parables he shares with the people. We can learn so much from them. One I have been thinking about a lot lately is the parable of the prodigal son. We sometimes all have gone off the path, done something wrong, and are trying to make our way back. But our Father in heaven is waiting for us!! Elder Uchtdorf said:

"Our Heavenly Father will run to us, His heart overflowing with love and compassion. He will embrace us; place a robe around our shoulders, a ring on our finger, and sandals on our feet; and proclaim, 'Today we celebrate! For my child, who once was dead, has come back to life!'"

I love you all, I testify that God is our loving Heavenly Father. He will not leave you alone!!

Have a great week; email me if you want!
