Transfer Week!

Hey everybody!! How art thou? I hope this past week was good!! I don't have a ton to write about butttt we will get into it!! 



This week was pretttty hype, we had transfers!! Elder Cooper finished his mission....sooo wack but I'm hyped for him!! He was a super cool guy and an awesome missionary! Now I'm running it with Elder Hall! Still in Edinburg, This dude is something else lemme tell ya! He's got a lot of energy and he's a super nice guy. I am hyped for what this transfer will bring!! We had a lot of success finding people this week!! Up until about friday...and that's because it dropped a couple degrees haha. All the homies in Edinburg decided that it was time to stay in and not speak to missionaries! So sadly we had no one pull up to church which was super triste! But we have faith that they are gonna come next week!! 



Funny story, we were at these members' houses this week and they are super hype!! They speak only spanish tho...(idk why they go to the English ward) and they wanted us to share a spiritual thought! We were like aight super cool we are so down. We get there and the Madre turns to me and says I can't speak any English in her house...I was super calm and collected on the outside of course but on the inside I was like whatttttt! She just wanted to help me with Spanish, and then she said her family will be praying that I go to a Spanish area next transfer...I thought my Spanish was aight! Guess not haha! They are so hype, and the spiritual thought was good!



I was reading in the come follow me this week and Matthew 11:28-30 hittttt me hard! They are pretty well known but sooo powerful! 



28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.



If we turn our troubles over to Christ and take his yoke upon us we will be so blessed!! Our burdens WILL become light! I promise you that this is true, I've seen it with my own eyes!! I love this gospel and it blesses lives!! Jesus Christ lives!! 



Also I'm too hyped for General Conference!! It's gonna be so hype!!

It's that time again everybody, Monday email day. We had a crazy week up here in Zapata, the bikes are ELECT!! We grinded, I go fast on the bikes so I'm not sure if my comp is happy about that haha! But we've gotta be urgent with the work, this is God's work sooo This week we found so many cool people!! They are so awesome and I can't wait to see how they progress! We only had a couple come to church but we had some inactive members pull up so that was so awesome!! We have been trying to focus on sharing the restoration and church with our friends and we have seen blessings come from it! The people here know that something is missing from their church, and then we come along and boom. Questions are answered. This week we had interviews with president, which was super lit! Sorrrrrry I don't have a ton of stuff to say this week!! I'm staying in Edinburg for another transfer!! God has people here for me! I'm too hyped, Elder Cooper is heading home. He's finished his mission and he's a beast. I'll forever be grateful for him!!  Jesus Christ Lives. He loves us, this is his plan and nothing can mess it up. He truly did restore his church to the earth through Joseph Smith. Apparently I Was Fat?

YOOOOOOOO, what is popping everybody? I love y'all so much, and I am so grateful for everything y'all do. Truly, I've got the best family and friends out there. I love you guys so much! Can you believe it is Christmas time? Like not that many days until the big day is here. My P-day today is short because we have Christmas Conference this week. But it's always a joy to write an email and express some feelings I have come to acquire while being a missionary. Our friend Abel is back on date!! I had the impression to call him a couple of days ago and invite him to be baptized on the 30th. He said he wants to, and we are excited to work with him!!! I have grown to truly love this guy, and I am so excited for him to receive these blessings! My dawg Elder Nielsen is in the ward now. He was my MTC comp, and I'm hyped to be around him again.
