Not Sure What To Call This One.....

Heyy how's it going everybody?? I hope you all had an amazing week! This week was truly blessed in the land of Edinburg! God's ever present in our lives, I testify of this with all my heart! Let's get into it



First! We did a ton of service this week. I've decided if I could be doing service all day every day I would! It brings me so much joy and helps me feel more connected with the people! (Mosiah 2:17)



Second! We had so many goated member meals this week! As well we had so many lessons with members, it was a game changer!! As members of the church you are the secret weapons in this work! You can use your testimony to benefit the lives of others. It will bless others and help you grow your own testimony! The missionaries need you all so much, you can make all the difference in this work! Alma 8!!



Third! We had zone conference!! It was so hype, Presidente Larreal is so awesome! He and the AP's taught us so much!! They helped me to understand that our lives should be joyful! After all, one of the gifts of the spirit is happiness! Another thing they emphasized is the importance of the Book of Mormon!! It truly is the most correct book on the earth!! I invite you to pray about it once again!! Gain a witness!! Moroni 10:3-5



Fourth!! I was asked to give a training during District council....in all spanish....for 20 minutes....let me tell you, God hears prayers! I was praying so hard that he would help me! He truly truly did, I'm not saying it was amazing! But, it happened haha! 



Fifthly?? OUR FRIEND ARNOLD GOT THE PRIESTHOOD!! He's such an epic guy and wants to serve the lord. I got to be in the circle to so that was pretty hype



Lastly!! I was at a member's house this week and he gave me a super cool plate. Ngl it is pretttttty hype! 



SPIRITUAL THOUGHT



I was giving a spiritual thought with some members this week and I flipped open to these scriptures!!



Alma 7:23-25

  23 And now I would that ye should be humble, and be submissive and gentle; easy to be entreated; full of patience and long-suffering; being temperate in all things; being diligent in keeping the commandments of God at all times; asking for whatsoever things ye stand in need, both spiritual and temporal; always returning thanks unto God for whatsoever things ye do receive. 

   24 And see that ye have faith, hope, and charity, and then ye will always abound in good works. 

   25 And may the Lord bless you, and keep your garments spotless, that ye may at last be brought to sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the holy prophets who have been ever since the world began, having your garments spotless even as their garments are spotless, in the kingdom of heaven to go no more out.



These scriptures speak for themselves. I will just bear my simple testimony that as we live the gospel of Jesus Christ and do all that we can to become like him we will be blessed. I know that he loves us and through HIM and HIS atonement we can be saved. He is our light in the wilderness. I know he lives and loves us!! This truly is his work, I love him!

It's that time again everybody, Monday email day. We had a crazy week up here in Zapata, the bikes are ELECT!! We grinded, I go fast on the bikes so I'm not sure if my comp is happy about that haha! But we've gotta be urgent with the work, this is God's work sooo This week we found so many cool people!! They are so awesome and I can't wait to see how they progress! We only had a couple come to church but we had some inactive members pull up so that was so awesome!! We have been trying to focus on sharing the restoration and church with our friends and we have seen blessings come from it! The people here know that something is missing from their church, and then we come along and boom. Questions are answered. This week we had interviews with president, which was super lit! Sorrrrrry I don't have a ton of stuff to say this week!! I'm staying in Edinburg for another transfer!! God has people here for me! I'm too hyped, Elder Cooper is heading home. He's finished his mission and he's a beast. I'll forever be grateful for him!!  Jesus Christ Lives. He loves us, this is his plan and nothing can mess it up. He truly did restore his church to the earth through Joseph Smith. Apparently I Was Fat?

YOOOOOOOO, what is popping everybody? I love y'all so much, and I am so grateful for everything y'all do. Truly, I've got the best family and friends out there. I love you guys so much! Can you believe it is Christmas time? Like not that many days until the big day is here. My P-day today is short because we have Christmas Conference this week. But it's always a joy to write an email and express some feelings I have come to acquire while being a missionary. Our friend Abel is back on date!! I had the impression to call him a couple of days ago and invite him to be baptized on the 30th. He said he wants to, and we are excited to work with him!!! I have grown to truly love this guy, and I am so excited for him to receive these blessings! My dawg Elder Nielsen is in the ward now. He was my MTC comp, and I'm hyped to be around him again.
