Bien Bien

Hey everyone!! How was everything this past week? Did you see the power of God in your life? Were you able to read from the Book of Mormon? I hope you were able to, as we do that we can come to know our savior so much better!



This will be a short email but hopefully a good one! This week we spent a lot of the week preparing Julie's kids for their baptism! They were able to be baptized!!! It was an amazing experience to be a part of. They are so cool and they make me laugh all the time! We hit super hard on the importance of the Book of Mormon and the impact it can have in our lives! It is so true, we all need it in our lives. 



This week we met with a lot of our recent converts, which was so hype! We went over to our recent converts Agapito and Alberto! They are so hype, while we were there they gave us Trippas! (IDK how to spell it) Which is fried Cow Intestine......kinda wack not gonna lie, but another cool experience for the books!! It's cool to learn about the culture down here and to become a part of it! 



This week my mom had her birthday!! I love her so much and I am so grateful for her example to me!! She is the most amazing person ever!! My Grandpa Lefler had his birthday TODAY!! He is amazing and has taught me so much. I love you Grandpa!! SHOUTOUT these 2 amazing people in my life!



SPIRITUAL THOUGHT



Matthew 4:19-20

19 And he saith unto them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

20 And they STRAIGHTWAY left their nets, and followed him.



This is when Jesus Invites some of his apostles to the work. I emphasized the word Straightway. Straightway in my mind can be replaced immediately. they immediately left their nets! I know at least for me back home I didn't always want to immediately choose to put church first. Sunday mornings were sometimes hard to be motivated to go to church! But I testify that as we STRAIGHTWAY leave our cares and worries and follow Jesus Christ we will be blessed. I have seen it in my life. I testify that Jesus Christ lives and as we read the Book of Mormon we can grow to know him. I LOVE this gospel. I invite you all to find what god needs you to leave, and leave it. You will be blessed.

It's that time again everybody, Monday email day. We had a crazy week up here in Zapata, the bikes are ELECT!! We grinded, I go fast on the bikes so I'm not sure if my comp is happy about that haha! But we've gotta be urgent with the work, this is God's work sooo This week we found so many cool people!! They are so awesome and I can't wait to see how they progress! We only had a couple come to church but we had some inactive members pull up so that was so awesome!! We have been trying to focus on sharing the restoration and church with our friends and we have seen blessings come from it! Sorrrrrry I don't have a ton of stuff to say this week!! I'm staying in Edinburg for another transfer!! God has people here for me! I'm too hyped, Elder Cooper is heading home. He's finished his mission and he's a beast. I'll forever be grateful for him!!  Jesus Christ Lives. He loves us, this is his plan and nothing can mess it up. He truly did restore his church to the earth through Joseph Smith. Apparently I Was Fat?

YOOOOOOOO, what is popping everybody? I love y'all so much, and I am so grateful for everything y'all do. Truly, I've got the best family and friends out there. I love you guys so much! Can you believe it is Christmas time? Like not that many days until the big day is here. My P-day today is short because we have Christmas Conference this week. But it's always a joy to write an email and express some feelings I have come to acquire while being a missionary. Our friend Abel is back on date!! I had the impression to call him a couple of days ago and invite him to be baptized on the 30th. He said he wants to, and we are excited to work with him!!! I have grown to truly love this guy, and I am so excited for him to receive these blessings! My dawg Elder Nielsen is in the ward now. He was my MTC comp, and I'm hyped to be around him again.
