Uhh Is It Supposed To Be Green??

¡Hola mis amigos! ¿Cómo están? How are we all doing this week?? First full week of 2023!! Hopefully getting back into a routine wasn't too rough for everyone haha! You are all amazing so I bet it was just fantastic, it hit the people down here though....everyone was not happy that school was back. But nevertheless the work moves forward!! We had a great week full of so many interesting events!! 

 

 

We started off the week super great!! We had a bunch of lessons with investigators, recent converts and members! So many people assume that missionary work is just getting people baptized, but it goes so far beyond that!! We teach the members so then they can teach their friends. My dad says that the best way to find new people is through the members who are friends with them! All you members are key in the gathering of Israel!! Don't forget that!

 

 

We visited our friend Agapito this week on monday!! He's a recent convert who's soooo cool!! His wife Mary made us green spaghetti...I know I was a little on the fence, but it was so good!! I'm learning how to make it this week!! So hyped for that! 

 

 

We had a goated zone meeting again this week! We talked about the plan of salvation. Let me tell you, it's the most amazing thought to know that our father in heaven loves us enough to create a plan for our salvation! It's also called the plan of happiness, and through the atonement of Jesus Christ it can be a happy thing!! I love my savior and father in heaven!!

 

 

This week we had dinner with Bishop Tidwell on Saturday night! Trying to build that trust with him and help him and his family out! We left his house after a scrumptious meal and got a call from him about 20 min later....he said he loved having us over and felt the spirit!! Soooo he wanted us to talk on sunday hahaha!! I guess we gotta not share such a great spiritual thought just playing!! So me and Elder Cooper, being spirit lead, came up with talks pretty late Saturday night!! I talked about the Book of Mormon! I can truly testify that it is the word of God! Through it we can come closer to our Father in Heaven than by any other book!! It's so amazing, and testifies completely of Jesus Christ!

 

 

Spiritual thought!!

1 Nephi 17:13

 

 

13 And I will also be your light in the wilderness; and I will prepare the way before you, if it so be that ye shall keep my commandments; wherefore, inasmuch as ye shall keep my commandments ye shall be led towards the promised land; and ye shall know that it is by me that ye are led.

 

 

I don't know if I have shared this one before, but I feel impressed too! This has been my motto this week!! God is always there, if we are righteous he will show us the way to go! Jesus Christ truly is our light, and we can all exemplify him and become lights for others!!

 

 

I love you all more than you know!! I appreciate all the prayers, I truly feel the strength from them!!

It's that time again everybody, Monday email day. We had a crazy week up here in Zapata, the bikes are ELECT!! We grinded, I go fast on the bikes so I'm not sure if my comp is happy about that haha! But we've gotta be urgent with the work, this is God's work sooo This week we found so many cool people!! They are so awesome and I can't wait to see how they progress! We only had a couple come to church but we had some inactive members pull up so that was so awesome!! Sorrrrrry I don't have a ton of stuff to say this week!! I'm staying in Edinburg for another transfer!! God has people here for me! I'm too hyped, Elder Cooper is heading home. He's finished his mission and he's a beast. I'll forever be grateful for him!!  Jesus Christ Lives. He loves us, this is his plan and nothing can mess it up. He truly did restore his church to the earth through Joseph Smith. Apparently I Was Fat?

YOOOOOOOO, what is popping everybody? I love y'all so much, and I am so grateful for everything y'all do. Truly, I've got the best family and friends out there. I love you guys so much! Can you believe it is Christmas time? Like not that many days until the big day is here. My P-day today is short because we have Christmas Conference this week. But it's always a joy to write an email and express some feelings I have come to acquire while being a missionary. Our friend Abel is back on date!! I had the impression to call him a couple of days ago and invite him to be baptized on the 30th. He said he wants to, and we are excited to work with him!!! I have grown to truly love this guy, and I am so excited for him to receive these blessings! My dawg Elder Nielsen is in the ward now. He was my MTC comp, and I'm hyped to be around him again.
