Theres No Way Its December

¿¿Que tal amigos?? How are we all doing this week?? In case y'all didn't realize, it is officially December! Woohoo it's Christmas time!! I love it here so much!! The Christmas atmosphere is way different than home. No snow...not as many people outside...but still fun nonetheless! How are things in the great north? Hopefully they are going very well, I miss you tons and I am so happy for everyone!! 

 

 

This week we had a bunch of cool experiences! I'll do a quick recap for everyone cuz I don't have a ton of time! 

 

 

•Our investigator Barbie and her fam came to church and they are getting baptized on the 17th of December!! Which is so cool that they are preparing for it!

•I got bit by a goose

•Did a bunch of service for our cool friend Mary! 

• Bought matching pajamas as a 4man!(Christmas card coming soon! :)

• set a lady name Cielo and her son Gael on baptismal date for the 10th!!

•Had exchanges with ZL Humpherys! He was so lit!! Love this man

 

 

Those are the big things!! God has poured out his blessings upon mission texas!! I love it here and wouldn't ask to be anywhere else! 

 

 

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT

 

 

3 Nephi 11:11 

11 And behold, I am the light and the life of the world; and I have drunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me, and have glorified the Father in taking upon me the sins of the world, in the which I have suffered the will of the Father in all things from the beginning

 

 

This is the one of the first things Jesus Christ says when he gets to the Americas!! How cool is that!! We immediately realize that he is the only way we can be saved, it is only through him that we can possibly live with Heavenly Father again. I testify to you that Jesus Christ lives! That he loves each and everyone of us! He is the light and the life of the world!! We all need to do everything we can to become more like him! During this Christmas season you all have the opportunity to be like him. Do not waste this chance to share your light!!

 

 

I LOVE YOU ALL!! Keep up the good work, and as my GOATED older brother says: 

Keep grinding!

It's that time again everybody, Monday email day. We had a crazy week up here in Zapata, the bikes are ELECT!! We grinded, I go fast on the bikes so I'm not sure if my comp is happy about that haha! But we've gotta be urgent with the work, this is God's work sooo This week we found so many cool people!! They are so awesome and I can't wait to see how they progress! We only had a couple come to church but we had some inactive members pull up so that was so awesome!! We have been trying to focus on sharing the restoration and church with our friends and we have seen blessings come from it! Sorrrrrry I don't have a ton of stuff to say this week!! I'm staying in Edinburg for another transfer!! God has people here for me! I'm too hyped, Elder Cooper is heading home. He's finished his mission and he's a beast. I'll forever be grateful for him!!  Jesus Christ Lives. He loves us, this is his plan and nothing can mess it up. He truly did restore his church to the earth through Joseph Smith. Apparently I Was Fat?

YOOOOOOOO, what is popping everybody? I love y'all so much, and I am so grateful for everything y'all do. Truly, I've got the best family and friends out there. I love you guys so much! Can you believe it is Christmas time? Like not that many days until the big day is here. My P-day today is short because we have Christmas Conference this week. But it's always a joy to write an email and express some feelings I have come to acquire while being a missionary. Our friend Abel is back on date!! I had the impression to call him a couple of days ago and invite him to be baptized on the 30th. He said he wants to, and we are excited to work with him!!! I have grown to truly love this guy, and I am so excited for him to receive these blessings! My dawg Elder Nielsen is in the ward now. He was my MTC comp, and I'm hyped to be around him again.
