Transferssss

¡Hola todos! ¿Como estamos todos? 

 

 

I hope you are all doing super well today and this week!! It's official, the spooky season is over and it's now the month of the turkey!! Thanksgiving is one of my favorite months of the year! What other month do we just sit around and feel grateful for all that God has blessed us with??? We really don't have any other month, take this month to start that habit of thanking God for all he has given! 

 

 

SHOUTOUT MY SISTERRRRRRR ALLLLLLEEEEE! She has turned the amazing age of 17! She is such a light in my life and such a great example to me! We used to argue about who was more mature, I will settle this debate right now. She is far more mature than I am! Haha ask anyone they will agree, I really love you Allee and I am so proud of you!!

 

 

Yaaaa I'm not getting transferred anywhere!! Me and my comp are staying in mission!! But sadly Elder Mayfield is getting transferred to Harlingen to be the Zone Leader!! He's gonna do great!

 

 

This week was a pretty normal one! Talked to people, but they didn't want to talk back, so we left! But we found some really cool people that we hope can keep progressing and we can help bring into God's fold! The work is so amazing, even when we aren't finding anyone I can still find joy in the work because I know this church is true!! We had the opportunity to have a baptism this week! Her name is Crystal and she is so awesome! The sisters taught her and Elder Simmons was able to Baptize her! Elder Simmons and I were able to be a part of her confirmation circle and it brings me so much peace to know that she has started that process! I love this work!!

 

 

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT

So this spiritual thought comes from one of my best friends, Emma Jolley!!! She's so lit and super spiritual! She shared that the story of Daniel and the lion's den is one of her favorites. My favorite part is how Daniel will not change his beliefs for anyone! No matter the circumstances we need to be UNCONQUERABLE in our faith of our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ! They love you and just want you to do what's right! If we follow him and keep the commandments we can be as confident as Daniel! I love you all so much, so does your savior! Stay diligent in your faith!

It's that time again everybody, Monday email day. We had a crazy week up here in Zapata, the bikes are ELECT!! We grinded, I go fast on the bikes so I'm not sure if my comp is happy about that haha! But we've gotta be urgent with the work, this is God's work sooo This week we found so many cool people!! They are so awesome and I can't wait to see how they progress! We only had a couple come to church but we had some inactive members pull up so that was so awesome!! We have been trying to focus on sharing the restoration and church with our friends and we have seen blessings come from it! The people here know that something is missing from their church, and then we come along and boom. Questions are answered. This week we had interviews with president, which was super lit! Sorrrrrry I don't have a ton of stuff to say this week!! I'm staying in Edinburg for another transfer!! God has people here for me! I'm too hyped, Elder Cooper is heading home. He's finished his mission and he's a beast. I'll forever be grateful for him!!  Jesus Christ Lives. He loves us, this is his plan and nothing can mess it up. He truly did restore his church to the earth through Joseph Smith. Apparently I Was Fat?

YOOOOOOOO, what is popping everybody? I love y'all so much, and I am so grateful for everything y'all do. Truly, I've got the best family and friends out there. I love you guys so much! Can you believe it is Christmas time? Like not that many days until the big day is here. My P-day today is short because we have Christmas Conference this week. But it's always a joy to write an email and express some feelings I have come to acquire while being a missionary. Our friend Abel is back on date!! I had the impression to call him a couple of days ago and invite him to be baptized on the 30th. He said he wants to, and we are excited to work with him!!! I have grown to truly love this guy, and I am so excited for him to receive these blessings! My dawg Elder Nielsen is in the ward now. He was my MTC comp, and I'm hyped to be around him again.
