It's The Little Things

OH MANNNNNNNNN another week has come and gone in this great life!! Hopefully you all learned or did something life changing! If you didn't....welp do it this week! That is my new motto, the world is not gonna change for you! YOU gotta go change the world! Oh my I should be a motivational speaker! #ElderLeflerPodcasts #Changetheworld 

Well I really do hope you all had a tremendous week! I know I did, I saw the lord's hand in everything I did! The knowledge that we have of a loving father in heaven is the most comforting and motivating knowledge I have! We had a safety meeting yesterday and that is why I am emailing today! The safety dude said that we are representatives of our Savior Jesus Christ!! Because of that we should find comfort! IT IS SO TRUE!! so we chillin hahaha

 

 

I've had the opportunity to talk with my friend Elder Havili in the past weeks. He laughed at my problem with cold showers!! He is in the Dominican Republic and they have to haul water to shower....kinda put my problem into perspective! Gracias Elder! Love you lots!

 

 

We had a lot of cool experiences this week, and the work is moving forward! We met this kid named Jesus and he is SO LIT! He has some of the craziest questions ever, and we are trying to get him to just read and pray about the Book of Mormon! He is so elect and I can't wait to see how he progresses! I am beginning to see how the lord touches people's hearts. He talks to everyone in their own way, so if you feel like he isn't talking to you I would challenge you to widen your perspective and see if he is talking to you in other ways! Because he is, I testify with my whole heart that he is.

 

 

While at church this week the sister missionaries had a non member come with them! His name was Patrick. Being the guy I am I decided to go and introduce myself, when I got over there I flashed a big smile and said, "Hi! My name is Elder Lefler''. He said hey I'm patrick! Then he said you're glowing,  started smiling more and it was just a funny experience! The reason I bring this up is because out of everyone on this email chain I am the least "GLOWY"!! You all brightened my days every time I saw you! You all have amazing spirits and testimonies! SHARE THEMMMMM WITH EVERYONE!! It is as simple as a smile, we will change the world! Shoutout to my friend Mckaitli Haynes, at FSY our company scripture was Matthew 5:14-16!!! Go read!

In lamentations 3:25-26, it says, 

 

                        25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.

 

 

The lord is good to those that look for him!! Try and look for the lord in every thought and action in your life! It will increase your gratitude and love, and it will bring you closer to him that created you!

It's that time again everybody, Monday email day. We had a crazy week up here in Zapata, the bikes are ELECT!! We grinded, I go fast on the bikes so I'm not sure if my comp is happy about that haha! But we've gotta be urgent with the work, this is God's work sooo This week we found so many cool people!! They are so awesome and I can't wait to see how they progress! We only had a couple come to church but we had some inactive members pull up so that was so awesome!! Sorrrrrry I don't have a ton of stuff to say this week!! I'm staying in Edinburg for another transfer!! God has people here for me! I'm too hyped, Elder Cooper is heading home. He's finished his mission and he's a beast. I'll forever be grateful for him!!  Jesus Christ Lives. He loves us, this is his plan and nothing can mess it up. He truly did restore his church to the earth through Joseph Smith. Apparently I Was Fat?

YOOOOOOOO, what is popping everybody? I love y'all so much, and I am so grateful for everything y'all do. Truly, I've got the best family and friends out there. I love you guys so much! Can you believe it is Christmas time? Like not that many days until the big day is here. My P-day today is short because we have Christmas Conference this week. But it's always a joy to write an email and express some feelings I have come to acquire while being a missionary. Our friend Abel is back on date!! I had the impression to call him a couple of days ago and invite him to be baptized on the 30th. He said he wants to, and we are excited to work with him!!! I have grown to truly love this guy, and I am so excited for him to receive these blessings! My dawg Elder Nielsen is in the ward now. He was my MTC comp, and I'm hyped to be around him again.
