DONT EAT THE CHICKEN

Hola mis amigos!! How's everyone doing this week?? Hopefully everyone is doing good! This week was really awesome! Not a ton different than last week, EXCEPT we have a lot of progressing people now! They are so awesome and soooo down to learn more about the gospel! I love it here so much and love to share the gospel. There are definitely ups and downs but with God on my side I can always know that the ups are coming! It's so awesome how simple the gospel is, I can teach a 5 minute lesson about the restoration and it actually makes sense! But it is also so awesome that If you dive deeper there is so much to always learn! The same goes for the book of mormon, it is so amazing and there is always more to learn!(Not sure what's going on in the Bible, that's a whole different story haha) This week we had the opportunity to teach a young man, he is so amazing and has such a great desire to learn more and do good. He is such an example to me of what I want to be like! Me and my companion had the opportunity to go to a ward baptism this past Sunday. A girl named princess was being baptized, and I got to be in the confirmation circle!! It was so cool to be a part of that!! I love this gospel soooo much and can't imagine my life without it!

 

 

This week a member fed us church's chicken...the first thing the older missionaries warned us about was church's chicken. Lets just say it was a longgggg night, I did not agree with my stomach!! Always choose to eat the things that are good for your body! Like candy!

 

 

I don't have a ton to write about but I wanted to share a verse from come follow me!! 

Jeremiah 17:14

14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise

 

 

I LOVE THIS VERSE SO MUCH!! Jesus Christ is our everything! Only through him can we be saved and return and live with our father in heaven. We know that we can ask him anything and he will tell us! I testify of the power of the atonement, it has made me the person I am today! I promise you that through the atonement we can all come to know our savior better!!!

It's that time again everybody, Monday email day. We had a crazy week up here in Zapata, the bikes are ELECT!! We grinded, I go fast on the bikes so I'm not sure if my comp is happy about that haha! But we've gotta be urgent with the work, this is God's work sooo This week we found so many cool people!! They are so awesome and I can't wait to see how they progress! We only had a couple come to church but we had some inactive members pull up so that was so awesome!! We have been trying to focus on sharing the restoration and church with our friends and we have seen blessings come from it! The people here know that something is missing from their church, and then we come along and boom. Questions are answered. This week we had interviews with president, which was super lit! Sorrrrrry I don't have a ton of stuff to say this week!! I'm staying in Edinburg for another transfer!! God has people here for me! I'm too hyped, Elder Cooper is heading home. He's finished his mission and he's a beast. I'll forever be grateful for him!!  Jesus Christ Lives. He loves us, this is his plan and nothing can mess it up. He truly did restore his church to the earth through Joseph Smith. Apparently I Was Fat?

YOOOOOOOO, what is popping everybody? I love y'all so much, and I am so grateful for everything y'all do. Truly, I've got the best family and friends out there. I love you guys so much! Can you believe it is Christmas time? Like not that many days until the big day is here. My P-day today is short because we have Christmas Conference this week. But it's always a joy to write an email and express some feelings I have come to acquire while being a missionary. Our friend Abel is back on date!! I had the impression to call him a couple of days ago and invite him to be baptized on the 30th. He said he wants to, and we are excited to work with him!!! I have grown to truly love this guy, and I am so excited for him to receive these blessings! My dawg Elder Nielsen is in the ward now. He was my MTC comp, and I'm hyped to be around him again.
