My Home MTC Experience!

Hey Guys!!!

 

 

So I decided that I would just write one email for my home MTC because the same thing kinda happened for 2 weeks haha! To start off I just wanna say I have LOVED it! The spirit I have felt has been overwhelming, and the experiences I have had have been so amazing! I have learned so much about the gospel it is amazing! Hopefully I have picked up some Spanish as well ;) The transition to missionary life has been made easier through these couple weeks! Me and my mom and dad have been able to go on walks, get lunch and just talk in between classes which has made things a lot easier! I have been able to play basketball with some of the other elders which has been a real blessing. I am so grateful for everyone who has made this transition easier! My companion Elder Nielsen is amazing and has such amazing spiritual insights and my district is so amazing! They are perfect examples to me of how I want to be as a missionary! I am super excited to get to Mexico and finish the MTC and then on to McAllen to spread the gospel! 

 

 

I wanted to share a scripture with you guys that a friend shared with me recently! It is 2 Nephi 9:21 and it says,

21 And he cometh into the world that he may save all men if they will hearken unto his voice; for behold, he suffereth the pains of all men, yea, the pains of every living creature, both men, women, and children, who belong to the family of Adam.

 

 

I want you guys to know I have a testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ! It has helped me become the man I am today! I know our Savior and Father in Heaven love us and want us to return to live with them and the Atonement is the way to do that!

It's that time again everybody, Monday email day. We had a crazy week up here in Zapata, the bikes are ELECT!! We grinded, I go fast on the bikes so I'm not sure if my comp is happy about that haha! But we've gotta be urgent with the work, this is God's work sooo This week we found so many cool people!! They are so awesome and I can't wait to see how they progress! We only had a couple come to church but we had some inactive members pull up so that was so awesome!! We have been trying to focus on sharing the restoration and church with our friends and we have seen blessings come from it! The people here know that something is missing from their church, and then we come along and boom. Questions are answered. This week we had interviews with president, which was super lit! Sorrrrrry I don't have a ton of stuff to say this week!! I'm staying in Edinburg for another transfer!! God has people here for me! I'm too hyped, Elder Cooper is heading home. He's finished his mission and he's a beast. I'll forever be grateful for him!!  Jesus Christ Lives. He loves us, this is his plan and nothing can mess it up. He truly did restore his church to the earth through Joseph Smith. Apparently I Was Fat?

YOOOOOOOO, what is popping everybody? I love y'all so much, and I am so grateful for everything y'all do. Truly, I've got the best family and friends out there. I love you guys so much! Can you believe it is Christmas time? Like not that many days until the big day is here. My P-day today is short because we have Christmas Conference this week. But it's always a joy to write an email and express some feelings I have come to acquire while being a missionary. Our friend Abel is back on date!! I had the impression to call him a couple of days ago and invite him to be baptized on the 30th. He said he wants to, and we are excited to work with him!!! I have grown to truly love this guy, and I am so excited for him to receive these blessings! My dawg Elder Nielsen is in the ward now. He was my MTC comp, and I'm hyped to be around him again.
